Calling all NC board members, and everyone else in driving distance!
Are you ready for a MAJOR AG sighting? Well, some of my American Girls are going to a big backgammon tournament next weekend to take part in a display!!
You see, my DH is the director of the Charlotte Backgammon Club, which hosts an annual tournament on the Martin Luther King,Jr. holiday weekend. It's the first tournament of the year on the American Backgammon Tour, and we're expecting players from all over the country!
I help DH with the tournament preparations, and work as staff; long hours, but very exiting! (I get the fine title of "Assistant Director"-- translates as "head go-fer.)
I'm planning a display of my girls, with an "AG's love Backgammon" theme, with DH's blessing; he's even helping me make backgammon t-shirts for them to wear!
So, anyone who's in the area is welcome to stop by, see the display, and say hello to "AsianAG"!!
The tournament will be held at the University Hilton, right off I-85, at the Harris Blvd exit, #45-A.
We'll be there from noon Friday, through Sunday evening, Jan. 13-15th. Just take the escalator downstairs, and follow the signs to the Carolina Invitational--you're invited!
Please come! Here's a "preview album" of my girls, and a link to the Charlotte Backgammon Club website, for anyone interested in backgammon!

Did you use baby onesies (sp?) for their t-shirts? If so, what size? I am assuming 0-3 months. I love they way they fit and they could open up so many possiblities for my dolls.
Thanks!

Actually, I used preemie-sized onesies (sized for up to 5 lbs), but the bottom part is too bulky to tuck in (DH said they looked like they were wearing diapers!), so I had to cut them off and serge the hems. Not a whole lot of trouble, but a little time-consuming. I'd love to find preemie-sized t-shirts, but I don't know if they make them; I'll be keeping a lookout for some!
If people at the tournament are interested, we can meke a few more for sale, but I didn't want to do any extra ones until we sure they were needed.
